“I like helping people become more successful. The work I enjoy most is with business owners who are serious about growing and who want to identify their goals, take advantage of the best opportunities and work together to make sure those goals are realized.”
A shareholder since 2001, Gary is instrumental in keeping firm initiatives moving forward with inventive ideas to meet the changing needs of BPK&Z’s clients. Helping clients grow their businesses and improve efficiencies is what Gary focuses on as the leader of BPK&Z’s Business Process and Profit Improvement Service area. He also heads up the manufacturing team and not-for-profit service group. His areas of expertise include manufacturing, not-for-profits, retail, distribution, professional services and internal controls.
Gary started at BPK&Z in 1989 after working in cost accounting for a manufacturing company and internal auditing for a national retail mail order firm. His experience in working with sole proprietorships to multi-million dollar companies in a variety of industries gives him great insight into the needs of clients at every stage of their growth.
A native Minnesotan, Gary works to give back to the communities in which he lives and works. He coaches a variety of youth sports teams and is active in his church.
