Laura came to BPK&Z in 2006. She has worked in public accounting for over 20 years at both large local and regional CPA firms. Laura helps individuals and businesses understand the tax system and how they can minimize their tax liability while still reaching their business goals by looking at the big picture.
As a manager in the tax practice at BPK&Z, Laura’s work focuses on effective tax planning and compliance. She works with closely held businesses and individuals and has extensive experience working with not-for-profits, trusts and estates. Laura has pursued specialized training in these unique service areas.
Practice Areas
Consulting with not-for-profits and their related tax issues. Preparing and advision on applications for organizations to obtain tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service . Consulting on estate and trust issues. Small business consulting. Reviews fiduciary, corporate, partnership, not-for-profit and individual tax returns. Represents clients with the Internal Revenue Service and state agencies. Provides research on technical tax issues.
