John is responsible for advising individual and business clients on tax matters. With his specialization and training in tax, John assists clients in planning for the future while reviewing the past. John's expertise, coupled with a strong tax team, helps clients reduce income taxes through appropriate tax planning.

Background
John is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, with a Masters in Business Taxation from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He worked for several accounting firms before coming to BPK&Z in 1991. He has been a shareholder since 2001. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
